    Great tips. My Blog's had various amounts of PR from when it first started. From zero to four, and everything in between. I noticed that my page rank was higher when I had a higher number of back links. I'm getting more traffic than ever, but have a lower PR. Have tried increasing post frequency, but id doesn't seem to help. All of my content is original, but I have noticed that it is now syndicated in many places which may have caused my ranking in the SERPS to increase but PR to decrease, its hard to say.

    That's interesting how your PR is lower, but you've moved up on the SERPS
    but with a lower PR. It makes you wonder if PR really means what it used
    to. I do know that "freshness" does seem to have some effect on the SERPS.
    Are your higher ranking article on the SERPS more recent, or are your older
    posts there as well?
