Yes, there is firefox addon you can use to see which links are nofollo won the fly. You can also look at the page souce but firefox addon is easier

I think that nofollow is slowly dying out. It has been proven that even nofollow links have some weight now.

Google Webmaster tools shows you exactly which links google has taken into account as to be your backlinks. Thats a great help for webmasters too check there backlinks no matter it even shows the ones which you might havent seen in any of the backlink checking tools.
